He advises on renewable energy, including PV, wind, and BESS projects, focusing on complex M&A transactions and strategic investments in Romania. Mihuț has extensive experience in the acquisition and development of renewable electricity generation and energy storage projects, with a cumulative portfolio exceeding 1 GW and multi-hundred-million-euro investments. He provides guidance through all stages of transactions and has built long-term relationships with developers, investors, and key industry stakeholders.

Experience

• Advised major foreign investors and family-owned businesses on the assessment of over 1 GW of PV and BESS projects (including operational assets) and assisted with the acquisition of projects exceeding 600 MW in aggregate capacity.
• Assisted a major Turkish energy investor with the legal due diligence for the acquisition of a wind farm project exceeding 400 MW, representing a total investment of more than EUR 600 million.
• Assisted a major Polish investment fund in the due diligence process for its acquisition of an 80% stake in the parent company of one of the largest flight ticket aggregators active on the Romanian market.
• Assisted a major local leasing company in the merger of two group entities as part of a broader corporate restructuring, advising on structuring, documentation, and implementation of the transaction.
• Provided legal assistance to an international client in the merger of eight group entities as part of a group-wide consolidation process, advising on transaction structuring and overseeing the implementation of the merger steps.
